Dear UMBC Merit Scholars:

On behalf of the Merit Scholarships Unit, we would like welcome you back to campus for Spring 2018!  As a FRIENDLY REMINDER, all merit scholarship recipients are required to maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) and successfully enroll and complete at least 12+ credits each fall and spring semester (6+ credits for transfer merit scholars).
 
Please Note:  UMBC’s Last day to Register or Add a Course for Spring 2018 is Friday, February 9, 2018.  Scholars are eligible to make changes to their semester enrollment until this date; however, please be advised you must complete at least 12 credits (6 credits- transfers) in order to meet the terms of your scholarship.
 
At the end of the fall semester, the Merit Scholarship Review Committee will review your academic record, as well as enrollment status to confirm compliance with your scholarship requirements.
