Congratulations to MARC U*STAR Scholar, Chiamaka Ekwunazu, who has been invited to give the top undergraduate oral presentation at the Ernest E. Just Symposium to be held February 26, 2016 at the Medical University of South Carolina.  This award comes with a certificate and a $100.00 cash award.  
       Ms. Ekwunazu's presentation is entitled "Early-Life Antidepressant Drug Exposure Alters Brain Development:   Possible Role of Maternal Care."  This research was conducted during her Summer Research Experience at the University of Alabama, under the mentorship of Sarah Clinton, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobiology.
