Jill Wrigley , INDS  professor and Rosa Rosdada, INDS Student  requesting support and approval for the use of campus land for the UMBC New Roots Garden: a community garden for area refugees through  a partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) .

 The space  requested for  approval is adjacent to the current student garden at Parking Lot 8 between Performing Arts and Police Station , is roughly 4,015 square feet.  See the accompanying  files in the Roots Folder on LSC Group home page. 

 Landscape and Stewardship Members are asked to take this information to their respective Senates for recommendations.
