Hey everyone, hope your summer has gone well. I have rough drafts of the forms I need to turn in and will most probably going to bring that to our first meeting. One thing I will need before I can turn in the forms is "An Advisor Letter: This is a signed statement by a faculty/staff member
on university letterhead agreeing to serve as an advisor that includes
the individual's e-mail address and telephone number." If anyone knows any faculty or staff that would have interest in being our advisor, please let me know or just ask them to write it and I'll pick it up. (don't forget to give them my email or send me a notice so I know!)
Another major point: What day or days of the week should we set for our meetings? (Any Friday jokes, all shall die lol) I'll put up a poll and the one with the most votes AND works out for all the members will get picked. Once we have that down we can pick the time. Remember that we have members who live in dorms as well as commuters! I'm thinking of having meetings starting the second or third week of school in case we have any freshman (also heard that UMBC doesn't like organizations having meetings within the first week of school).
