Jitu is a master organizer. He was the education organizer for the Kenwood Oakland Community Organization (KOCO) in Chicago--the oldest African-American led Grassroots organizing group in the city. He has over 24 years experience bringing Grassroots voices and vision to the table. He is now the director of Journey For Justice Alliance--a national network of 40 Grassroots Community organizations with a primary constituency of parents and Youth in 23 cities across the United States; committed to Community Driven School Improvement.
