The Dresher Center for the Humanities has just announced their Residential Graduate Student Research Fellows for Fall 2016. The fellowship is intended to support promising research by graduate students in the humanities.
We are happy to share the news that Jessica Floyd (Cohort 16) has been chosen a Dresher fellow for Fall 2016. Jessica's project is called "Jibooms, Barrels, and Arseholes: Singing Sex in Sea Chanteys.” Her advisors are Dr. Christine Mallinson (LLC) and Dr. Amy Froide (History).
Also, Kelly Daughtridge, from the Historical Studies M.A. program, has been selected for this fellowship with her project: “Defining their Past and Immortalizing their Future: Women’s Monuments in Early Modern England”
