Jackie Matise Peng successfully presents her Dissertation Research Proposal
The LLC Program is pleased to announce that Jackie Matise Peng of Cohort 23 successfully and skillfully presented her dissertation research proposal to her committee on December 14, 2022.

Jackie's project is titled, Raising Mixed Kids in the 'Burbs: Mixed Race Families Navigating Race, Identity, and Discrimination in Suburban Schools. 

After her presentation, Jackie had a substantive discussion with the committee about the next stages of her work. Her committee agreed that the project is worthy of doctoral research and helped Jackie consider some key issues as she moves forward into the research and writing.
