Celebrate National Library Week

April 12-18, 2015

Join us in a celebration of libraries.

The staff of the Albin O. Kuhn Library & Gallery will celebrate National Library Week from April 12–18, 2015.

All Week, All Day
  • Stop by the library and take a shelfie! Tweet us @UMBCLibrary your #UMBCshelfies on both Twitter and Instagram!
  • Check out the Reference display on the 1st floor featuring books by Honorary Chair David Baldacci. (Yes, you can loan them.)

April 15
  • Get a Baltimore County Public Library card in the Library Atrium, 12pm - 3pm.

April 15–16
  • Library Scavenger Hunt: Scour the stacks for special tokens and receive a fun prize! Hints will be posted to our Facebook page and Twitter. Contest runs until all the tokens are found.

April 16
  • Stock up at the Library Book Sale from 11am - 6pm in the hallway behind Reference and next to Writing Center.
