Here's a little more info about our Spring Break trip if you or someone you know wants to go:
Leaving on Friday, March 13th to drive down
Saturday- TBD
Sunday- worship and TBD
Monday- Meeting with staff of Lutheran Social Services to get an overview of refugee's realities, then working with an after-school program with refugee kids
Tuesday- Setting up apartments for new refugees, after-school program work
Wednesday- Packing food backpacks for kids in need
Thursday- Helping new refugees with computers and visiting with Ethnic-Based Community Organizations
Friday- driving home and stopping for free Rita's water ice, a Spring Break tradition

Deadline to sign-up is Feb. 27th, or earlier if the trip gets filled up sooner. Spots are limited.
