JCET Takes Prize at MOST Annual Conference
On Sunday, March 3rd, Dr. Susan Hoban and Laurie Cook were keeping UMBC on
the radar of the 110 participants of the Maryland Out of School Time (MOST) Annual Conference held in Annapolis, MD.
Hoban gave an invited talk on choosing engineering as a career path,
Cook offered a one-hour workshop on the NASA's BEST Students curriculum.
Hoban and Cook, accompanied by two other colleagues, won the 90-minute long
STEM Trivia contest held at the end of the conference.
