Hi everyone,
We know this is the end of the semester, but ISSA is looking for a few
students interested in taking a leadership role in the UMBC Chapter of
Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). We need to elect a
president and will likely create two or three more officer spots. In
addition to new officers, we need enthusiastic members and people
willing to provide ideas. ISSA aims to enhance the knowledge, skills,
and professional growth of our members. Our club will not solely focus
on just Information Security; we plan to expand further to other topics
that might complement what our members are interested in. ISSA is
looking to make an impact on UMBC and would love someone with great
ideas to help make that happen. We would like to start planning for the
upcoming semester sometime before January 29 (Spring Involvement Fest)
and would have no more than 2 or 3 meetings before which would be held
on campus or another conveniently located spot.
