Panopto Mandatory Recorder Upgrade for Mac Users Mac users required to upgrade recorder version Panopto has announced that beginning July 19 at 4:00 AM EDT, Mac clients will be required to upgrade their recorder to version 14.0. 

The next major Panopto for Windows and Remote Recorder version is tentatively expected to release in Q4 of 2024. No changes will be made to the supported version of Panopto for Windows and Remote Recorder Windows until version 12.0 sunsets in July 2025.
