Due to the campus closure on March 6, the UMBC Bookstore Graduation Center will be extended through Wednesday, March 13 (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) Graduating students may order regalia, diploma frames, steins, and announcements by March 13 and avoid paying a late fee.  Rings may be ordered during the make-up day (11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 13). The 10% discount on diploma frames ordered in the store has also been extended.

Students may also place their orders online. Note that late fee forgiveness may not apply online after a certain time.

URI internship expectations:

Summer term:  180 hours; 10-12 weeks, 15-18 hours/week

Most internships are unpaid; paid internships contingent upon funding-  Academic credit may be applicable; see your academic advisor or internship office.

For priority consideration, apply before April 1.
