<Title>HTLab Course Transformation Grants for AY 2022-23</Title>

    <p><strong>Click <a href="https://inclusionimperative.umbc.edu/humanities-teaching-labs/grant-announcements/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">here</a> for application information.</strong></p>
    <p><strong>Humanities Teaching Labs (HTLabs) Course Transformation Support Grants</strong> offer flexible, movable resources for course transformation, syllabus redesign, and the development of course projects. These grants may be used for faculty and student training, digital and other tools, classroom technical support, speakers or consultants, stipends for community participants, and other resources for community-engaged humanities teaching and learning (in person or virtual) that address issues of race, equity, inclusion, and justice.</p>
    <p>HTLabs Course Transformation Support Grants are open to all full-time UMBC faculty (one application per person) who teach courses with humanities content. Applicants may request up to $4,000 in support. A total of two grants will be made for courses to be taught in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023. </p>
    <p>Before submission, applicants should discuss their proposed HTLab Course Transformation projects with <a href="mailto:ddm@umbc.edu" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Denise Meringolo</a>, Dresher Center Acting Director and Inclusion Imperative Project Director, and/or <a href="mailto:rbruba1@umbc.edu" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Rachel Brubaker</a>, Dresher Center Assistant Director. Send applications to <a href="mailto:inclusionimperative@umbc.edu" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">inclusionimperative@umbc.edu </a>with subject “HTLab Course Transformation Support.”</p>
    <p>An HTLab on designing and teaching transformed courses, featuring a round-table discussion with previous grant, will be held on <span>March 4, 2022</span>, from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. (via WebEx). Time will be provided for questions. Look for an announcement soon!</p>
    <p>The application deadline is <u>March 14, 2022</u>.</p>
