The wireless connection pod in room 408 is being returned for repairs / warranteed replacement. The monitor is still fully functional with the HDMI connection.

11:30- Ribbon cutting ceremony at the ILSB Quad (rain location in the atrium)

12:00 - 2:00 PM- Hands on science and active learning demonstrations 

12:00- Artwork dedication with the artist Volkan Alkanoglu 

1:00 - 3:00 PM GRIT-X talks in room 116

Of course on top of everything else, it is homecoming weekend and the invitation list has gone far and wide. If you would like the opportunity to give individualized tours of your labs, feel free, but obligated. The building tours as presented are being done by the facilities group concentrating on sustainability and energy efficiency. We are planning on several hundred people and for the most part, I'd like to keep everyone contained to the first two floors of the building.

I know the cell coverage in this big building is a bit of an issue. I had OIT send me a wiki to set my cell phone to work over the wifi network and I have to say, the coverage is much better. Please see the following wiki for both OS and Android phone set up.

I was just informed of the closure of the loading dock on Thursday and Friday of this week. I'm working with the receiving department to coordinate the uninterrupted delivery of supplies and materials to the building. Please see the attached diagram of the work area for additional information.
