Abstract
Overview of IceCube science goals and results with a special focus on computing intensive research.
Speaker Bio
Benedikt Riedel is the Computing Manager for the
IceCube Neutrino Observatory and the Heterogeneous Systems Lead for the
Accelerated AI Algorithms for Data-Driven Discovery. His research
focuses on machine learning methods for neutrino astrophysics, high
throughput data processing, distributed systems, and workflow
management. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics in 2014 from UW-Madison.
