UMBC offers trainings to faculty and staff members on their duties and obligations as University officials under local, state, federal laws, and the University’s Policy & Procedure. This training will focus on outlining the rights and responsibilities as faculty and staff members under Title IX, the Clery Act, and the UMBC’s Sexual Misconduct Policy & Procedure. Specifically, attendees of this training will be informed of their designation as a Responsible Employee, a Campus Security Authority, or both, and their duties under such designation. 

Upon the completion of this training, attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of their responsibilities and duties under Title IX, the Clery Act, and the UMBC’s Sexual Misconduct Policy & Procedure.
