2021 Year-End Leave Information Don't Lose Your Leave!
The end of the 2021 calendar year will be here before we know it. Employees are encouraged to try and use their leave, don't lose it. 

The last day to use excess annual leave and unused personal leave for calendar year 2021 is January 1, 2022. Click on 2021 year-end leave memo to access information regarding leave carryover eligibility, procedures, etc.

Greetings,

On Friday, June 18, 2021, UMBC will be closed in observance of Juneteenth. The day will be observed as an administrative leave day. Electronic timesheets for leave eligible employees have been populated with the ADM leave code. 

  • Nonexempt employees who must work on June 18th will be credited with administrative leave on that day.
  • Exempt employees who must work on June 18th can take the administrative leave day before August 31, 2021.
