Please take a moment to review the information regarding the awards and nominate someone who has been doing an exceptional job in that category. The deadline for nominations is <strong>October 31, 2024</strong>.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>University System of Maryland Board of Regents' Staff Awards</strong>: recognizing demonstrated excellence in one of five specific areas of work</div><div><strong>UMBC Presidential Distinguished Staff Awards</strong>: recognizing exceptional performance, leadership, and/or service</div><div><strong>Jakubik Family Endowment Staff Award for Exempt or Nonexempt Staff</strong>: recognizing contributions toward the success of UMBC students</div><div><strong>Karen L.     staff during this unprecedented time, we ask that you reflect on the work
    within your units and across the campus and nominate a colleague. This process
    gives both UMBC and the University System of Maryland the opportunity to
    recognize exemplary work at our University. We are eager to honor our
