<Title>Open Enrollment is almost over!</Title>

    <div class="html-content"><h5><strong>Open Enrollment for State of Maryland health benefits
    will end this Friday, November 8<sup>th</sup> at 5:00pm.</strong></h5><p>Take action now before it’s too late! Please visit the <a href="https://my3.my.umbc.edu/groups/payroll/posts/144094/7136/b5a2043f12b145a44470eee932c6cfe3/web/link?link=https%3A%2F%2Fhr.umbc.edu%2Fbenefits%2Fopen-enrollment%2F" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">HRSTM
    Open Enrollment website</a> for resources from the State, health vendors,
    as well as the slides and recording the Information Session that we conducted
    on October 16th.</p>
    
    <p><strong>What's New for 2025?</strong></p>
    
    <ul>
     <li><strong>The
         State will have a new prescription vendor! <a href="https://openenrollment.medimpact.com/#/plancode?SMD01202501" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">MedImpact</a> will replace CVS
         Caremark as the State’s Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM).</strong></li>
    </ul>
    
    <ul>
     <li>All
         employees who are enrolled in prescription coverage will receive new
         MedImpact prescription cards at their home address around December 15th. </li>
     <li>Wellness
         activities reset for the 2025 and 2026 calendar years.</li>
    </ul>
    
    <ul>
     <li>Healthcare
         FSA maximum increased to <strong>$3,200 </strong>for the 2025 calendar year.</li>
    </ul>
    
    <p> </p>
    
    <p>During Open Enrollment, employees can enroll, cancel, or
    make changes to their health benefits, with all changes becoming effective on
    January 1, 2025. Employees will receive alerts regarding Open Enrollment
    directly from the State of Maryland via the SPS Workday system.</p>
    
    <p><strong>Open Enrollment events are available in the employee’s
    online SPS Workday account. </strong>Instructions for logging into Workday and
    resetting your password can be found <a href="https://my3.my.umbc.edu/groups/payroll/posts/144094/7136/c9d8a3fbb48fbbb7364606c45c3139d3/web/link?link=https%3A%2F%2Fhr.umbc.edu%2Faccessing-sps-workday%2F" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">here</a>. </p>
    
    <p>For employees who are adding <strong>new</strong> dependents
    to their health benefits during Open Enrollment, please review the <a href="https://my3.my.umbc.edu/groups/payroll/posts/144094/7136/6661c7ef3d173c6ac3fdee610a452f47/web/link?link=https%3A%2F%2Fdbm.maryland.gov%2Fbenefits%2FDocuments%2FDependent%2520Documentation%2520Requirements%25202025.pdf" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">required
    dependent documentation </a>and <em>start gathering the documentation
    now, </em>before it’s too late. If the dependent documentation is not
    correct, the State will not add the dependent to the employee’s benefits. The
    correct dependent documentation must be attached to the employee's Open
    Enrollment event by <strong>Friday, November 8, 2024, at 5:00pm. </strong> </p>
    
    <p>To ensure timely receipt of vendor communication, <em>including
    new prescription cards from MedImpact</em>, we advise employees to confirm
    their <strong>home address</strong> is correct by logging into their myUMBC
    Profile (under <em>About,</em> and select <em>View More</em>).
