The Summer Institute in Nursing Informatics has just sent out their Call for Submissions. You can find more information here:

This meeting is actually a very significant one in the Nursing Informatics world. Every year, they hold it in July in our downtown campus. This year it will be the 25th year. We presented our research at SINI in 2013 and 2014. I am always impressed with the quality of the conference. I certainly recommend and encourage both submitting to and attending SINI 2015. We are very lucky to have a conference attended by all prominent Nursing Informaticians right here in Baltimore.
By the way, there are registration discounts for University of Maryland faculty and students. This includes UMBC as well.

The students may also want to explore student volunteership opportunities. From previous years, I know that they had volunteers. I don't see the info on the website now but if you're interested contact me and I can ask and find out.
