Prof. Christy Chapin's new book, Ensuring America's Health: The Public Creation of the Corporate Health Care System (Cambridge University Press, 2015) won the 2016 Ralph Gomory Prize from the Business History Conference. This prize, "made possible by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, recognizes historical work on the effects of business enterprises on the economic conditions of the countries in which they operate." Prof. Chapin picked up her prize at the annual conference at the end of March.
