Prof. Christy Chapin just won a summer fellowship from The Maryland Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (MIPAR) at UMBC for a new project tracing the rise of finance capitalism in the U.S. since WWII. She is particularly interested in the way federal policies interacted with the banking system and how in turn this has influenced the structure of firms and market sectors as well as consumer credit.  Congratulations!
