Come watch Ex Machina (2014), starring Domhnall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, & Oscar Isaac.
A young programmer is selected to participate in a ground-breaking experiment in synthetic intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a highly advanced humanoid A.I.
Film will be followed by a discussion from 7:30-8:30 led by UMBC's Eric Brown (HCST & INDS).
Free HCST t-shirts will be given out to several lucky attendees.
Open to all UMBC students, faculty, and staff.
