Congratulations! And I want to sincerely thank the 2019-2020 E-Board and ALL HCC members for a job well done. I am just sorry that we didn't get to see what else you had in store for us.
A special hug of gratitude goes to outgoing President Sanya Ahmed (who I worked with quite closely :-) and Secretary Logan Lineburg. We will miss you, but know our HCC is in great hands.

It's Getting to be URCAD Season!
Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement Day (URCAD) features research, scholarship, and creative work carried out by UMBC undergraduates. Student work is shared through oral presentations, posters, artistic exhibits, performances, and film. Over 400 presenters participate annually. Researchers work with faculty mentors on independent research, or research that is part of the mentor’s on-going projects. They are from all disciplines, and can be working on a thesis, capstone project, part of a scholars or honors program, or they can be unaffiliated.

It's finally here! Tonight is the the 3rd Annual Charity Gala, co-sponsored by the Honors College Council and Engineers without Borders! It will be from 5:30-9:00 in the UC Ballroom.
Why is this event so awesome? 1) You get to dress as fancy as you want; 2) You get to dance the night away; 3) You can win prizes, such as cruise tickets and an Amazon Echo; and (maybe most important of all) 4) The proceeds will go to the EWB water supply project in Coast Rica!
A NEW reason? A chocolate fountain and a photo booth!

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
Grab some fresh doughnuts on your way to class!
The Honors College Council will be holding a Krispy Kreme fundraiser TODAY, October 14, from 12-1 (free hour!) in the Commons Breezeway.
We will be raising money for the upcoming Charity Gala to benefit Engineers Without Borders in their upcoming water supply mission abroad in Costa Rica.
Grab some sweets and support a good cause!
