<Title>Research &amp; Publication Workshop: CAHSS Faculty Perspective</Title>

    <div class="html-content"><h2><a href="https://my3.my.umbc.edu/groups/library/events?mode=upcoming" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Tuesday, April 1, 2025</a><span> </span><span>· 3 - 4 PM</span></h2><div><div><br></div></div><div><div><span><p><span>Publishing your work is considered one of the primary pillars of a research project, graduate students are often hunted by policies and recommendations to publish several papers as part of their graduate experience, some use their publications as part of their thesis or dissertation and some programs even require students to be a first author in order to be considered for graduation from a PhD program. </span></p><br><p><span>How do you even start the process of writing a publication? What are impact factors and how do you decide if your data is impactful enough to be submitted to a particular publication or journal?     <div class="html-content"><div><span>UMBC is exploring adding a Student Legal Service that would provide our students with information about a selection of legal matters to enable them to address their own personal concerns. <Title>New Applications Open: New Vaccine Training Program at UMB/UM SOM Baltimore</Title>

    <div class="html-content"><div><br></div><div><div>Calling For the Integrated Training Program in Vaccinology (ITP-Vax) applications!</div><div><br></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>ITP-Vax Program Overview:</strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div>The Integrated Training Program in Vaccinology (ITP-Vax) is a novel training program that will give college graduates and master’s level graduate students a 9-month research experience with mentorship from Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health (CVD) investigators. These groups meet weekly for 10-12 weeks, either in person or online, to track progress and develop sustainable writing habits.
