Available to all Graduate Students across UMBC, the GSA Writing Advisor, Trevor Ruben, is available for appointments now and through the rest of the semester. Currently, expected hours of availability are as follows:
Monday: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Tuesday: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursday: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
All meetings take place in the Commons, room 308.
You have two options when making an appointment:
Visit UMBC.MyWConline.com, choose the GSA Writing Advisor Fall 2016 schedule in the drop down menu and choose an available time. Registration for this website is not linked to UMBC's primary student accounts, which means you'll need to register for a new account if you haven't already. Students should upload a document if possible through the appointment sign-up options in advance of the appointed time.
OR
Email the GSA at GSA@umbc.edu with 'ATTN: Writing Advisor' in the subject line and Trevor will reply with potential meeting times. Conversely, Trevor is available for digital-only consultation, so long as a near-completed piece of writing is submitted via email attachment and the student provides ample context for the student's goals.
