Last semester commuter students added comments about when parking lots were open for students.  Commuter student Ahmed Saad provided the following comments last semester, is it similar this semester?

i have found that certain times will have a guarantee you will get a parking space within these lots.
this is only Monday - Thursday
NOTE: this is only the commuter Parking lots, i dont know about the others
before 8 am = all parking lots are free
9 am = Lot 4 (behind Public Policy Building) is filled, all others still have some parking spaces
9:35 am = Lots 1 and 3 are filled. the Commons Garage will be filled within the next 10 min (NOTE* Commons Garage tends to be filled at various different times between 9:20 and 10:00)
10 am = all parking on or within the loop is filled, head towards the outer parking lots
11am = Stadium lot, Lots 22 and 22 are nearly filled, expect searching for parking
12 pm = all Commuter lots are filled, expect excessive time looking for parking.
2 pm = Stadium lot, Lots 22 and 22 are nearly filled, but slowly clearing up
3 pm = Lots 1 and 3 are somewhat empty. the Commons Garage will be emptying and filling on occasion
5 pm = (depends on the day and weather) can find parking anywhere except Lot 4
9 pm = can find parking anywhere

NOTE** the amount of spaces open change on a day by day basis due to events such as visitor day, SEB events, etc. read the signs posted on whether there is an event that day. if there is then expect a 10% decrease in parking.
