Hi Grand Challenge Scholars! My name is Connor McCarthy and I'm leading a group on campus called SolarRetrievers. We are a dedicated group of students that work to combine engineering design with green energy technology. Our past projects include the installation of the four Solar Umbrella Tables throughout campus as well as a Green Model Home and 3-D printed Solar Lego Car which we presented at the 2016 DC Science and Engineering Festival. We are currently in the process of brainstorming and selecting our large-scale project to take on and would love to hear some new perspectives.
