At Global Brigades, we are committed to building a world of greater equality, in which all people are empowered to create a better life for themselves and their families. We do this by partnering with rural and under-resourced communities in Latin America and West Africa. We powerfully and concretely change the lives of our community partners by making investments in health care, economic development and clean water. This empowerment process kicks off with Brigades, 7-10 day collaborations between university students, community members and local staff to build the community's infrastructure and capacity for development.  To get there, we're going to have to grow the movement.
