Room for rent in townhouse (10-minute walk from UMBC!!)
If you are looking for a place to stay near UMBC during the Summer Session(s), keep reading!
We have 1 bedroom for rent in a townhouse within 10-minute walking distance from UMBC and convenient stores (Mars, Rite Aid Pharmacy, Giant). The house is just a block away from the Arbutus shuttle line (if you are feeling lazy), as well as MTA bus 35 (which takes you Downtown). Fast commute to I-695, I-95, I-295, I-895 and BWI airport.
The room available is on the second floor; it has a double bed, two small desks, a wardrobe and plenty of storage space. There are two other rooms and one bathroom on the second floor, a living room and a small dining room next to the kitchen on the first floor, and another room and a 1/2 bathroom in the basement. Washer and dryer included + parking space available.
The rent is $500 + around $40 utility (Comcast high-speed internet included) per month. My contract ends in July 31st, but move-in and move-out dates are negotiable!

- The last day of spring classes is Tuesday, May 10. All students should attend classes until this date. Please do not ask your instructors for permission to leave early or take exams early.
- Summer classes begin on Tuesday, May 31. If you will take a break over the summer and return in fall, classes begin on August 31.
- If you were undecided about your future plans, please visit with an academic advisor at the ELI front desk.
- If
you will travel outside the U.S. after the end of the spring semester,
please see Sarita or Vanessa for a travel signature on page 2 of your
I-20.
- Do you have a bill due April 20? If you have any questions about your bill, please visit the ELI front desk.
- Visit
the ELI front desk if you receive an alert in myUMBC about a Health
Services Restriction. We will help you make an appointment at UHS (the
UMBC clinic).
- Please
join us for the end of the year Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, May
11 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Commons Sports Zone.

Utilities (electric & internet) - electric runs an average of $60/month and internet is provided by Comcast.
