Core Mechanics: Turn-based system where each character has turns in greater frequency based on a speed stat. Heavy RPG elements including leveling, gear, skills, items, etc. Tactical squads of 2-5 characters per team.
Planned Engine and Language: I know C++ best and would love to learn Unreal, but if 2D the game would likely be perfect for Unity, which would be great too.
Proposer Role/Looking For: I'd like to be programming lead, but I don't mind relinquishing the position to a qualified person. I will need an art lead for sure.
Pitch: A game focused on balanced strategy and tactical skill, where victory hinges on both out of battle choices like gear and training as well as in battle choices like positioning and attack sequences.
