What's Up with Welcome Week? Info for Faculty and Staff Dear Senators and Friends, 

I have been asked to share information with you from Campus Life.  Please share with faculty and staff colleagues.  

Campus Life invites UMBC faculty and staff to join us for virtual info sessions all about Welcome Week 2024. In these sessions we will share  opportunities to participate in Welcome Week as a department/office or as an individual faculty/staff person. We will also share schedule highlights and raffle off a Welcome Week swag bag at each session!

There are two sessions to choose from.

Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 11 a.m. - Noon
Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 2 - 3 p.m.

Dear Colleagues,

 

The Committee for Faculty Care and Belonging (formerly the Faculty Caregiving Advisory Committee) seeks to better understand the post-pandemic needs of faculty members who serve in caregiving roles, the way those caregiving roles interact with their faculty roles, and the supports they receive from the university for those roles. Please consider filling out this short survey by Monday, October 16. Based on this data, we will put together a report and recommendations to share with the provost, the Council of Deans, and the campus community.
