New this year, we are extending our writing contest to multimedia. While students can still submit a written essay, you are encouraged to shoot a video, write a poem, write a song or rap about it...

express your experience based upon the NSBE selection "Enrique's Journey" by Sonia Nazario.

Fall 2014 Deadline: January 19, 2015

This Fall (and Spring) semester we will be featuring two categories in our bi-annual essay contest: our traditional essay contest and a new media (or multimedia) essay contest. We are putting the “Experience” back into the New Student Book Experience; it’s time to get creative!

Note: Both categories will have a 1st place winner and two honorable mentions.

•1st place winner receives a $200.00 gift certificate from the bookstore.

•Two runner-ups receive a $100.00 gift certificate (each) from the bookstore.
