After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing additional information about joining the webinar.</em></div></div><div><br></div><div><h3>Speaker Bios</h3><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>Christi Vrban, Corporate Gerontologist</strong></div><div>Christi Vrban leads The Hartford Center for Mature Market Excellence’s industry-leading mature market education programs. She is responsible for the development, delivery, and measurement of the Center’s core curriculum, utilizing multiple formats and platforms to achieve optimal learning outcomes. Christi brings her 18 years of instructional design experience and is highly skilled in producing media-rich, interactive gerontology learning courses. Christi also founded and leads The Hartford’s Working Caregivers of Older Adults community, established out of her experience of caring for her parents; this group supports employees who are providing care at various stages while working. Christi is completing her M.A. in Gerontology at USC’s Leonard Davis School of Gerontology and recently spoke at American Society of Aging’s On Aging 2024 Conference.</div></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Rodnée Warr, Gerontologist and Executive Director</strong></div><div><div>Rodnée Warr leads the Elder Client Initiatives area within Wells Fargo’s Wealth &amp; Investment Management (WIM). Rodnée brings over 20 years of experience leading teams in legal, risk and compliance to help mitigate risks of fraud and scams among older adults. She has a master’s degree in Gerontology, providing her with unique knowledge of the psychological, sociological, and financial aspects of aging. </div><div>Currently Rodnée leads a team who provides guidance on elder and vulnerable financial exploitation and diminished capacity to Wells Fargo Advisors and Wealth Investment Management relationship managers. Her aim is to equip all Wells Fargo employees in the various business lines with the knowledge and skills to serve mature customers more effectively. Each year through her innovative curriculum, thousands of Wells Fargo employees participate in training and other programs that equip them with the knowledge and skills to serve mature customers more effectively, while enhancing employee satisfaction. </div><div>Rodnée believes that older adults are not necessarily more gullible than younger individuals, it is just that they can be retired and have more time on their hands, so they are able to entertain a conversation with scam artists. Her work includes developing and conducting specialized training tools such videos, pamphlets, brochures to directly educate consumers on elder financial exploitation and scams and how they can protect themselves.</div><div>Rodnée has presented at national events: US Treasures Conference, National Indian Council on Aging Elders Conference, North American Securities Administrators Association, Upper Midwest ACH Association and American Society on Aging.</div></div><div>In the broader community, Rodnée is a consultant and member for such organizations: </div><div><div><ul><li>Coalition for Justice for Elder &amp; Disabled Adults of Missouri.</li><li>Saint Louis City Multi-Disciplinary Team for Elder Abuse.</li><li>California A Team.</li><li>National Adult Protective Services Scam Forum.</li><li>FINRA Senior Investor Roundtable.</li><li>SIFMA Senior Investor Protection Forum.</li><li>Saint Louis Area Agency on Aging.</li></ul></div></div><div><em>This webinar is organized by GSA’s Emerging Scholars and Professional Organization (ESPO).</em></div></div>

Dr. Bhargava has over 10 years of academic and professional experience in data collection and management of small and large-scale studies, development and implementation of research study protocols, conducting psychometric analyses using social science and health research data, and performing longitudinal statistical analyses, including structure equation modeling and multilevel modeling analyses. Additionally, Dr. Bhargava is experienced in conducting focus group interviews. Dr. Bhargava has several publications and presentations in the fields of psychology and nursing. Some of her work has been published in the Journal of Aging &amp; Mental Health, The Journals of Gerontology. Series B, Psychological Sciences and Social Sciences, Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, PLOS One, and Gerontology.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Dr. Jennifer Craft Morgan</strong> is the Director of and Professor in the Gerontology Institute at Georgia State University. Her research focuses on jobs and careers, attempting to understand how policy, population, workplace and individual level factors shape how work is experienced and how work is organized across care settings. She is a national expert on recruitment, training, and retention of direct care workers. Dr. Morgan has led several major evaluation efforts focused on sharing lessons learned, in real-time, to inform and improve model development for practice and education-based intervention work. Her interdisciplinary research contributes to several disciplines including gerontology, health services, nursing, and sociology. She has published in high-ranking journals such as the The Gerontologist, and in top-tier specialty journals such as Social Science and Medicine, Work, Employment and Society, Health Services Research and Journal of the American Medical Association, as well as in more applied outlets intended to reach practitioners.</div></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Dr. Jamie Rausch</strong> is an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) on the Fort Wayne campus. Dr. Rausch’s program of research is focused on adipose tissue dysregulation through the effects of the adipokines: leptin and adiponectin that regulate inflammation. Rausch serves the university and nursing profession in several ways: at IUSON - Tenure Track Search &amp; Selection Committee Member, Fort Wayne Campus Faculty Development Coordinator, Fort Wayne Research &amp; Scholarly Activity Co-chair, Midwest Nurses Research Society Membership Committee Chair, in addition to many others. Dr. Rausch has presented at a variety of national and international conferences and has been published in peer-reviewed journals. She received her doctorate in nursing science at Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio.</div></div>
