The UMBC Review: Journal of Undergraduate Research is currently soliciting submissions for its 25th edition to be published in April 2024. We invite you to submit your research to our journal. The Review offers a rewarding opportunity to get your undergraduate research published!
The deadline to submit is Friday, September 15th. The submission application can be found at: https://ur.umbc.edu/umbc-review/. Click "Submit Paper Here!" We encourage students of all majors and disciplines to send in their research! Your papers do not have to be ready for publication or perfect right now, we just want to see the best work and research you have completed! Papers may include original research and/or artistic statements that explore the research and process you have completed, and discoveries you have made.

It is a $4,000 scholarship This is a need-based scholarship for students majoring in political science who demonstrate a commitment to advancing racial, ethnic, and/or social equity in the administration of public services and policy.
Students must be (rising) juniors or seniors and have a minimum 2.8 GPA.
This fund was established by James R. Ray, Jr. in memory of his sister, Rhonda Ray, class of 1990.

Please make sure to apply for our Fall conference team (applications for the Spring Team will be available in December) as soon as possible! Applications close Friday, September 15th. We will be attending NMUN DC from November 10th-12th, 2023. Should you apply and get accepted to the team, you will be obligated to attend one 1-hour meeting per week, the day/time of which is decided based on the team's collective availability, until we attend the conference. Should you choose, you may be registered for the 1-credit, upper level Political Science elective course, POLI384L.
