    <div class="html-content"><p><span>The Economic Analysis Group in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice is soliciting applications for data analyst positions in Washington, DC starting in spring/summer 2020.</span></p><p><span>Data Analysts will work on the </span><a href="https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-department-reviewing-practices-market-leading-online-platforms" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>Department of Justice’s review of the business practices</span></a><span> of market-leading online platforms, including any associated investigations or enforcement actions.</span></p><p></p><p><span>The Economic Analysis Group is looking for detail-oriented, highly motivated individuals interested in economics. This position qualifies for a Civil Service rating of GS-7 (annual pay $48,670-63,267). A bachelor’s degree plus either one year of specialized experience, or graduate level education, or superior academic achievement in undergraduate study are required (see USAJobs ad). You</span><span> </span><u>must be a U.S. citizen</u><span>. Experience in working with large datasets, data focused programming (such as SQL and/or R), statistics, computer programming, and econometrics is required. Knowledge of data science and data visualization techniques is also useful.
