CAPitalize is an immersive experience that will provide students with an inside look at careers in investing. <Title>Student Volunteers Needed April 13th</Title>

    <div class="html-content"><p>On Wednesday, April 13th, CFA Society Baltimore Society is holding its annual conference, this year titled <strong>Investing In a Post Pandemic World </strong>at The Baltimore Four Seasons<strong>. </strong> We are currently seeking student volunteers to help us with the event.</p><p> </p><p>Student volunteers will get a chance to hear from the keynote speakers Anirban Basu and Edward Byers, as well as many others, meet other investment professionals from the area, receive a delicious lunch, and a t-shirt. Students would be helping with registration, directing attendees to the conference and breakout sessions, collecting question cards for the moderators, passing the microphone if needed, etc. The conference runs from 12 pm till 6:30 pm, and the volunteers are needed from 10 am-6:30 pm. However, shifts will be split so that volunteers have a chance to sit in the sessions and hear the speakers.     <div class="html-content"><p><span>Please read below about an opportunity to be an Economics Student Trainee Intern in the Division of Insurance and Research (DIR). Student Trainees have the opportunity to learn about banking and regulatory data, to understand economics careers in the federal government, and to acquire knowledge about the banking system.</span></p><p> </p><p><span>The Division of Insurance and Research helps the FDIC provide the public with a sound deposit insurance system by offering comprehensive statistical information on banking; identifying and analyzing emerging risks; conducting research that supports deposit insurance, banking policy, and risk assessment; addressing global financial issues of importance to the deposit insurance system; assessing the adequacy of the deposit insurance fund; maintaining an effective and fair risk-based premium system; and conducting economic analysis for FDIC rulemaking.</span></p><p> </p><p><span>Applicants may be considered for positions in the following branches:</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span>National and Regional Risk Analysis analyzes economic and banking conditions in seven broad areas that cut across the regions.
