UMBC’s Translational Life Sciences Technology program prepares students to enter an emerging field that has far-reaching, life-saving possibilities. The life sciences field is where such breakthroughs happen. In today’s Industry Roundup, we take a look at a recent NIH supported test of a new drug that may help slow the onset of Type 1 Diabetes in those at high risk for the disease.
