DoIT would like to recognize its own Holly Owens for her appointment to the Turning Technologies Higher Education Advisory Board where she will be representing UMBC. The group is compiled of 15 representatives from all across the country who get to see previews of upcoming clicker software and have input on product updates for Turning Technologies.
“It’s exciting to have influence on product design…”
Owens will be part of a group that has a direct influence on clickers and recommendations for them to be the best product for end-users. “It’s exciting to have influence on product design and also network with people around the country that I normally wouldn’t get to chat with.” said Owens.
She will also be presenting at Turning’s national conference in Las Vegas this October, where she will be discussing the migration plan UMBC implemented when transitioning from TurningPoint 5 to TurningPoint Cloud this year.
"I'd really like to help develop a clicker community..."
In the long term, Owens wants her new board appointment to help her learn more about product development and also making connections with other clicker users across the country. “I’d really like to help develop a clicker community not just among the board members, but also other clicker users in the nation.” said Owens.
Congratulations to Holly Owens and her new role representing UMBC on the Turning Technologies Advisory Board!
