DAU Valentines Day Card Making @ Women's Center
Hi DAU,
Reminder!! We will be having our first event TODAY from 4-5 PM in the Women's Center. Come join us to make some last minute valentine's day cards and also get to know DAU's mission. We will additionally provide a brief time where you can suggest some event ideas to us that we can execute this semester!
All
materials, paper, scissors, markers are provided. If you would like to
bring your own crafting supplies and do whichever craft you prefer just
to hangout that is cool too.

Division of Institutional Equity (DOIE) review of Student Disability Services - Student Feedback
Give feedback on SDS to campus leaders!
DAU community,
The Division of Institutional Equity (DOIE) wants to hear our feedback on UMBC accessibility services (ADS) and student disability services (SDS). Anyone at UMBC can give feedback, especially those that have had interactions with SDS and/or have accommodations. However, this is open to all students. There will not be any SDS staff present at these student feedback meetings.
The meeting options include two virtual options and one in person option. Make sure to submit this google form to choose when you will be attending if you plan to Google Form for Attendance - DOIE SDS Review. Meeting details are listed below this paragraph in addition to being in that google form.
Meeting Options:
Friday, January 31st - 12pm-12:50pm Virtually
Friday, January 31st - 12pm-12:50pm In person (lunch will be served)
Wednesday, February 19th - 12pm - 12:50pm Virtually
*The in person meeting location has not been disclosed, but we will be sure to inform you all as soon as we know
If you are uncomfortable with attending in person or virtually, or cannot make it, there is also a qualtrics survey open until Febuary 15th so please contribute if you can.

FAQ:
- What is PowerPoint Night? It's an opportunity for you to share information that you find interesting! Presenters will sign up for a 5 minute time slot to present on any topic of their choice, and it doesn't have to be academic! Presentations can be traditional PowerPoint/Google Slides, short YouTube videos, or art displays and can be about anything you find interesting
- Does my presentation have to last 5 minutes? Nope! 5 minutes is the maximum time allotted, not the requirement
- Do I have to present to attend the event? Absolutely not! Anyone is welcome to attend, and we encourage you to do so! We will begin the event with a short presentation introducing this year's DAU e-board team!
