Disabled LGBTQ+ Pride Art & Affirmations

Time: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Come and join the DAU to make posters and cardboard signs about issues at the intersection of queerness and disabled rights. With other arts materials provided, you may make affirmations to yourself, write a short writing work like a life experience, story or poem or do some coloring.

We will have some time towards the end if anyone wants to share their work :)

Hi DAU,

Reminder!! We will be having our first event TODAY from 4-5 PM in the Women's Center. Come join us to make some last minute valentine's day cards and also get to know DAU's mission. We will additionally provide a brief time where you can suggest some event ideas to us that we can execute this semester!

All materials, paper, scissors, markers are provided. If you would like to bring your own crafting supplies and do whichever craft you prefer just to hangout that is cool too. 

See you there those that can make it! Going forward, our regular meeting time will be bi weekly on Mondays from 12-1 PM starting February 24th.

DAU community, 


The Division of Institutional Equity (DOIE) wants to hear our feedback on UMBC accessibility services (ADS) and student disability services (SDS). Anyone at UMBC can give feedback, especially those that have had interactions with SDS and/or have accommodations. However, this is open to all students. There will not be any SDS staff present at these student feedback meetings.


The meeting options include two virtual options and one in person option. Make sure to submit this google form to choose when you will be attending if you plan to Google Form for Attendance - DOIE SDS Review. Meeting details are listed below this paragraph in addition to being in that google form.
