Zotero is the perfect tool for organizing your bibliography. There is a plug-in for both your browser and word processor. Citations are formatted automatically. Here are some of the highlights of Zotero:

Citations and bibliographies are formatted automatically (any format, MLA, APA, etc)
You can create 'libraries' to organize your different research topics.
When information is available from a website, like Amazon, you can add the source to your library with one click.
