November CWIT Spirit Week (11/9-11/13) Spirit Week in 3 days! Hey CWIT Community! 

Spirit week is coming in November! In fact, it starts next week! As a community, continue to have fun and encourage others to show their CWIT spirit!!


Below are the descriptions of next week’s themes. If you’re on Instagram, tag us @umbc_cwit  and use #CWITSpiritWeek throughout the week. For those who don't have or use Instagram, again, you may use this google form link to send your pictures and/or videos. 


  • Motivational Monday - share something that helps motivate you! It can be a quote, a picture, etc. 

  • Thankful Tuesday - send a shout out to a person in CWIT/life you are thankful for! 

  • Sunglasses Wednesday - share a picture of yourself wearing sunglasses :)

  • Career Day - dress for your dream career!

  • Black and Gold Friday - show your UMBC spirits by taking a picture of yourself wearing UMBC colors or a UMBC shirt!


By the end of the week, there will be a collage of all the pictures and videos, highlighting the sense of community we embody.

We will be having our second Book Club Meeting this week on Friday, September 21st. from 4PM to 5PM. We will be discussing Chapters 1-4, so please make sure you've finished these at least. 

As a reminder the book's name is "The Divide", available free on Wattpad. Our session will be held via Blackboard Collaborate. Please feel free to bring a friend or three :D.

Hey CWIT Community! Although we may all be in different places, home or on-campus, we are all still connected. Starting September 14th, our spirit week hopes to lift everyone’s spirit and encourage you guys to engage with everyone. We hope that these fun themes will remind everyone that we are still a community, despite being physically apart! 


Below are the descriptions of the week’s themes. Please send your pictures and/or videos of yourselves participating in each theme using thisgoogle form. By the end of the week, there will be a collage of all the pictures and videos, highlighting the sense of community we embody.


The themes and their corresponding descriptions are:
