The Hour of Code is a massive campaign to introduce more than 10 million students to computer science by having them do an hour-long online tutorial between December 9th and 15th. This brief home-made video explains how any educator can bring introductory computer science to their classroom. All ages welcome. No experience required. Computers areĀ optional.
Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code" and show that anyone can learn the basics to be a maker, a creator, an innovator.
code.org will provide a variety of self-guided tutorials that anybody can complete, with just a web-browser, tablet, or smartphone. We'll even have unplugged tutorials for classrooms without computers. No experience is needed.
