This week the project team participated in an onsite launch with TargetX project manager, Dave.  A new project manager from TargetX named Mychal also came along to observe.  The session duration was 9 a.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m.  The session began with introductions and an overview of the project plan.  Later there were in-depth conversations around pre-work the internal UMBC team did on the Project Preparation and Requirements Gathering document.  Also there were discussions around events, communications, applications process, data flow and other topics and features regarding the CRM.  During the session Dave and Mychal took notes within the agenda document.  Overall the session went well.  The team seemed in positive spirits at the end of the day and the team was asked how they felt someone voiced, “We're ready to get started!”

Next week the first of many working sessions led by Target is scheduled. The title of the working session is Structures & Conventions.
