Take Flight Robotics is a new STEM initiative that is being developed by some faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. We are looking to get students (and teachers) excited about careers in STEM through learning how to design, build, and fly unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). We are currently looking for financial support to help make this a reality! Note that we also have a UMBC UAV Club with over 40 students in it (CSEE, ME, etc.).
