Battelle, a national company specializing in science and technology research, is excited to announce the launch of the Battelle STEM Scholars scholarship application:

For the first year of the scholarship, Battelle is limiting its search to a few select universities and programs and is looking for computer science majors at UMBC. The Battelle STEM Scholars scholarship will provide a $20,000 scholarship and a paid internship to 3 qualified and motivated sophomores. Recipients will be required to create programing for local middle and high school students to encourage them to pursue STEM degrees.
The application requires a transcript, resume, two letters of reference, a phone interview and letter of support from at least one local school is also required. Visit the link above for questions and concerns.
Application deadline is March 30, 2015.
