The UMBC Chess team will be heading to New York City to compete in the Final Four of College Chess at the New York Athletic Club, March 27-29, 2015. The top four qualifiers from the annual Pan-American Intercollegiate, held every December, qualify to compete in the Final Four.

This three round tournament will begin on Saturday, March 28th, concluding on March 29th with the final round and closing ceremony, where the collegiate team chess champion will be crowned.
