[4/12/2010]--The UMBC Biodiesel project won this year's Prove It! competition sponsored by UMBC Student Government Association (SGA) with its proposal to create  a renewable energy source for the UMBC campus.

In Spring 2009, the Biodiesel Club won $1,000 in seed funding from MTV Switch’s “Dream It, Do It Challenge,” a global competition for the best sustainability ideas from young people around the world. For more information about this competition, click here.
